Hello,
We tried to enter a Avio codeblock within a WordPress page, which contained pure HTML code for a form. The page is saved fine at the back-end during the creation of the page, however when we try to reopen the page for editing the editor hangs displaying a white area displaying a continuous spinning image! The same behavior is observed if we want to add a codeblock with JavaScript code.
Is there a bug with the editor? How can a codeblock with a form element and/or a <script> JS code can be added (and re-edited) using the Avia editor?
Thank you

Could you share the code that you added which caused this problem please?
Best regards,

Thanks for the code block, I was able to add it to a code block element, save, view, and re-edit a few times.
Have you tried disabling your plugins to see if that changes anything?Best regards,
MikeMarch 9, 2020 at 6:23 pm #1191608Hello Mike,
Yes, almost all plugins have been switched off with the same effect. Since my last post, I also tried to embed another simple JS snippet to another page, with the same results.
Would it be possible to check it out on our site?

Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,

April 23, 2020 at 7:46 am #1206456Hi Sonja,
You could try to create a shortcode. Use this shortcode in a text or code block after adding the code to your functions.php file:
[sonja_shortcode]

April 23, 2020 at 10:08 am #1206489Thank you very much!
I adapted this function to all the (codeblocks) and that’s working fine
to all of them except for one code.

SonjaApril 26, 2020 at 12:00 pm #1207225Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I tested your code snippet in a code block element but didn’t get your error on my localhost, perhaps you have a previous error with a bracket or semi-colon, please include an admin login in the Private Content area, and a link to the page with the error, so we can be of more assistance.Best regards,
MikeMay 6, 2020 at 9:03 am #1210255@Mike, I wanted to add it as shortcode that’s where i got the error… but it looks like this code stays OK now pasted in the code-block.
So i leave it like this, don’t bother, tnx!But i have another issue!
I used shortcodes (like Rikard helped me) for the different forms in different languages (wpml)…
and that’s working fine except that the forms and the codes switch between the languages.
e.g.: The shortcode “contactform-EN” which is pasted on the english page,
changes sometimes in “contactform-FR” or “contactform-NL” which are pasted on the other language pages…
Any ideas how to solve this?Thnx
SonjaMay 6, 2020 at 1:49 pm #1210342Hi,
Sorry, I don’t see “contactform-EN” in the shortcode, please link to some pages that showing this and the other languages.Best regards,

Thanks for the login and links, but I’m not sure what the issue is, is “contactform-EN” a class?
You say that the forms are correct right now, but sometimes they change, perhaps the form labels change language when your browser detects a different language? I use Chrome and Google Translate sometimes does this to me.
Is this what you mean, or is it something else that changes?Best regards,
