    I’m using the wc-variations-radio-buttons plugins. Recommended here:

    customize woocommerce buy button area

    However, this requires a custom woocommerce template added to child theme: woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/variable.php

    Woocommerce does not detect a custom template when this is done. How do you get Enfold to play along with custom templates?

    It should work properly as we do load custom templates also.
