Hello.
I have several sites using Enfold. I want to be sure all of them are licensed correctly, but frankly, I am confused by the Personal Token setup. I believe I may have one or two unlicensed instances of Enfold, so I want to purchase additional licenses if I need them. But I have some questions before doing so….
1) Do I need to create a DIFFERENT personal token for each site that’s using Enfold? That is, if I have five sites, do I need five different tokens (codes)?
2) OR do I need to create ONE personal token that you will automatically link to my Envato account and confirm licensing for each of my Enfold sites? That is, if I have five sites do I need only one token (code) that I’ll install in each of the five sites?
3) Do I no longer need to worry about pasting my theme license in the website dashboard?
4) By entering the personal token, will the system automatically confirm that I have a licensed copy of the theme for each site?
Hey Arrastia,
We recommend that you generate different tokens for each install and keep a record or which token was used on which site locally on your computer or somewhere else where you can access the information. That way you can revoke a token and use the same license elsewhere.
You need to add a token to the backend if you want automatic update, please refer to the documentation here: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
Best regards,
Rikard
