Hi There,
I’m trying to layout a page using the Single Author Big in the Advanced Layout Builder. However, when I test it out, the content displays without featured images. I’ve deactivated all plugins, however that didn’t work.
Linked a page that I’m trying to build out where the featured images aren’t appearing.
thanks!

That is as expected, when using the Layout Builder for posts then all content needs to be added manually to it. Please try to use an Image element for your featured image for instance.
Best regards,

I’m a little confused. I’ve been using enfold for years and this has never been an issue for me. I use the ALB to drop in the “blog posts” content block and in the “blog posts” content styling, when I choose the Blog Style: Single Author, big preview pic, no picture shows up.
I’m setting this up as a way to display hundreds of posts. It doesn’t make sense for me to have to manually add in an image element in one column and then have the blog content appear in the 2nd column.
I’d like several pages I’m designing to look something like your demo site.
What’s the best way to move forward in creating this layout?

Please disable images lazy-loading and see if the issue persists.

I’m getting back into work on this site. I’m not sure where to disable images lazy-loading. I’m including an example of this enfold functionality working on another live website specifically using the advanced layout builder. And an example of a page on a current site that I’m working on where only the text is displaying, no featured mages are displaying next to the post titles or excerpts.
I’ve done a test and disabled all of my plugins, that did not resolve the issue.
thanks
April 9, 2020 at 5:53 am #1202122Hi,
I can see featured images on the page in private. If you want to display the excerpts for the posts then you have to add them manually if the post was created with the Layout Builder. If you can’t see the excerpt field then please select to activate it under Screen Options in the top right hand corner of the edit screen.
Best regards,
Rikard -
