Hello, I’ve installed latest Enfold version, I can browse on WP admin but AVIA builder options can’t be accessed, looks like it’s a JS error. What could I do? I’ve tried with different PHP versions, disabling plugins and nothing. Thank you.

January 27, 2020 at 9:15 pm #1178785Hi,
If you disable all the other plugins you have then do things work as should?

BasilisJanuary 27, 2020 at 9:18 pm #1178789Hi Basilis, sorry but I’m not following you. I have only 1 plugin enabled, tried disabling it and enabling it back, and still get JS errors. Thanks.
January 28, 2020 at 10:00 am #1178928Hi smorhaim,
Thanks for the update, I see the same problem on my end. I don’t know what is causing it though since I activated the parent theme, and the same thing happens when that is active as well. I can’t reproduce this problem on my local installation and I haven’t seen it on any other customer sites either, so the problem is likely local to your site.
Could you try to completely delete the enfold parent theme folder, then upload it again using a fresh copy from your Themeforest account to see if that helps please? Please make sure that you have backups of the site before you do this.
Best regards,

January 30, 2020 at 3:47 pm #1179933Hi,
Thank you for following up.
We found the following error in the console, which causes other scripts to break because they rely on jQuery.
ReferenceError: jQuery is not defined
Please try to disable WordPress’ script concatenation temporarily so that we can see what’s actually causing the error. Include this snippet in the wp-config.php file.
define('CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS', false );
Did you add any custom scripts in the functions.php file or anywhere else?
Best regards,

Thank you for the update.
Looks like the CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS in the wp-config.php file is disabled or commented out. Please remove the forward slashes in the beginning of the line to enable it. Or post the FTP details in the private field so that we can debug the issue further.

IsmaelFebruary 3, 2020 at 5:44 pm #1181002Hi Ismael, have you received the FTP information?
February 4, 2020 at 6:01 am #1181155Hi,
I can’t see any FTP login details in this thread, please try posting it in private again. Also note that you have to write something in the public box as well.

Yes we confirm the details are there!

BasilisFebruary 7, 2020 at 7:10 pm #1182379Thanks for the confirmation, have you found anything that’s causing this? thanks in advanced.
February 11, 2020 at 4:54 am #1183326Hi,
Sorry for the delay. The theme options are loading properly now. For some reason, the errors went away after enabling SCRIPT_DEBUG and CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS. The server is probably loading the older scripts previously.
