Hello,
I have an Enfold theme Licence for one site.
The Enfold theme is installed on my website.
But I have to migrate my wordpress site to another domain name because I change the name of my site (therefore new domain).
I intend to use a wordpress plugin like Duplicator, Migrator or All In One WP Migration to copy all my plugins, my files, my database and the installed Enfold theme.
Does my license allow me to perform this operation in peace, time to verify that the Enfold theme works well on my new site?
Naturally, once everything works well I delete the installation on the old site. Is it possible ?
Thank you

Yes, of course. You can use the license on your new website. You just post the token on the new website and remove it from the old.

VictoriaJanuary 20, 2020 at 1:40 pm #1176288Hello,
I’ve migrate my website to a new domain (and a new host).
Enfold theme is now installed on two hosts (OVH and Infomaniak) if I don’t talk nonsense.
How can I change the license assignment ?
Do I have to deactivate the plugin on my old hosting? If so, how can I do it? My wordpress is no longer connected to the old hosting (OVH)
Thank you
January 21, 2020 at 5:44 am #1176550Hi,
Thanks for the update. Is the old site live or is it deleted? If it doesn’t exist anymore then you shouldn’t have to do anything further.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 21, 2020 at 4:41 pm #1176822The old site exists (I believe). It is still online because it helps me redirect my content to my new site. But I do not have access to it with WordPress because my wordpress is connected to the new site. By cons I have access to the old site through my OVH customer area.
January 23, 2020 at 3:21 am #1177361Hi,
Thanks for the update. I don’t think you should have any problems, but if you do then please let us know here and we’ll have a closer look at it then. You would need access to the old WordPress installation in order to remove the token from the backend.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 23, 2020 at 11:39 am #1177556Ok but if the manipulation is simple I think I would as much like to delete the token from the old site so that there is no problem.
If I remove the token from the old site, will it not affect the new site? I prefer to ask because I am not a computer scientist.
How can I deactivate the token from the old site? I have access to the files of the old site thanks to the OVH FTP on my customer area. I can select the “Theme” folder in which Enfold Theme is located. Tell me if I can edit or delete the file that contains the token? Which file contains the token please?
January 24, 2020 at 5:36 am #1177984Hi,
Thank you for the update.
Removing the token from the old site will not affect the new site. To deactivate the token in the old site, go to the Enfold > Theme Updates panel and remove the token from there. You should deactivate or remove the theme from the old site because once you remove the token, the theme in the old site is no longer licensed unless you’ve purchase a new one.
Best regards,
IsmaelJanuary 24, 2020 at 11:57 am #1178087Sorry, but I need clarification. Can you be more precise.
I do not have access to the wordpress site of my old site! On the other hand, I have access to the files of my old site thanks to the OVH FTP explorer. How do I delete the token? Is it in a specific theme folder? If yes which? Can I recover the token (copy and paste) to put it on my new site? If yes, how ?
To deactivate the theme on my old site, can I just rename the Enfold theme folder? Will this disable the theme?
Thank you
January 25, 2020 at 9:59 am #1178300Hi,
You can delete the Enfold folder on the old site, that will deactivate the theme.

Do I need to add a private token for theme updates on my new site to take place? If yes, where can I find this token?

January 26, 2020 at 8:20 am #1178451Hi,
Yes, you will need to add a token in order to get automatic update. Please refer to the documentation on how to generate a token for your theme: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/
