    Hi guys,
we updated this morning and it screwed up other very important things. I need to roll back so it can be fixed and then update again. How do I rollback?

Does anyone know how to rollback? Now that the updates are via the token, I can’t seem to see how to rollback to a previous version. And it has to happen.

Do you have a pre-update backup of the site files and database? If so, you could restore the database and replace the existing /themes/enfold directory with the one from the backup. All this is carried out through your control panel provided by your host (e.g. in cPanel you would use the File Manager to restore the theme directory and phpMYADMIN to restore the database). Note that this will restore the site to the state when you made that backup. So if the backup is from 22 December 2019, all settings/text/images etc changes since will be lost.

Or you can try just updating the /themes/enfold directory to see if that is enough to fix your issue without meddling with the database

Thank you Barnez – that’s what I did per your suggestion – restored the theme files from a backup. Thank god for backups. It’s back to normal now.

Happy to hear that helped. Yes, hooray for backups! I need one myself today :)
