The instagram icon on the top of the header used to work perfectly. It now has disappeared.

You are currently using an older version of the theme which is not compatible with your WordPress version. Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version.
You can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token to generate a Personal Token to insert in Enfold theme options. Then you would receive update notifications in WordPress dashboard :)
