Hi there,
My featured image is showing up at the top of my page. I’d like to hide it but still have a featured image for link sharing purposes.I’ve tried to add this code to my Quick CSS to no avail. Here’s an example of one of the pages: https://www.prestige-luxury-villas.com/vacation-rentals/
.big-preview, .small-preview {
display: none !important;
}Any suggestions?

Please try this CSS instead:
.page-thumb { display: none; }
If you set the image in question as the image to be used when shared on social networks in Yoast SEO then it should be displayed even though it’s hidden on the front end of the site.
Best regards,
RikardJanuary 15, 2020 at 1:29 pm #1173971That ended up working.
I had to add a featured post image in addition to the og image on Yoast because it was not pulling through with Yoast for some reason. I cleared the cache, ran through multiple times on the Facebook debugger. Any suggestions? I’d quite prefer to just go that route and assign the images through Yoast.
January 16, 2020 at 9:03 am #1174774Hi,
I tried sharing the post on Facebook and it’s pulling several images then, you then get a choice to select which one to use. Is that ok or do you need further help?

RikardJanuary 16, 2020 at 4:30 pm #1175089Unfortunately no, I’ve assigned specific images for Open Graph but they are not getting pulled through. I’ve reached out to Yoast to see if they can find the issue. It only works when I have a Featured Image on WordPress and not within the Facebook/Twitter social tabs for some reason.

RikardJanuary 21, 2020 at 6:06 pm #1176870Hello,
I just heard back from our vacation listings software plugin developers. It is only on these pages that the Yoast plugin, theme and listing software are not producing the OG images.This is their response:
Hello, OG tags have nothing to do with the Lodgix plugin. They are either part of your existing theme or are installed using special plugins or by editing theme manually as described, for example, here: https://www.elegantthemes.com/blog/tips-tricks/how-to-add-open-graph-tags-to-wordpress
If OG tags are missing on the pages generated by Lodgix plugin, this is an issue with your theme or plugin which installs the tags.
Any idea here?
January 23, 2020 at 6:38 pm #1177793Hi kelsycolbeth,
It is the Yoast plugin that is adding the meta for the social networks. Have you asked the plugin devs if the plugin is compatible with the Yoast SEO plugin?
Best regards,
