    Hello everbody and a happy new year!
    The add to cart button does not work as expected. In the woocommerce settings it is enabled.
    I am grateful for any help.

    Hey LFK,

    The button takes to the product page and adds to the cart from there. Is this behavior not working for you?

    the problem is that i can see no difference whether ajax is activated or deactivated.

    I’m looking for a solution like this one:
    Example Demo Shop
    When you click on “Add to cart”, the item is immediately added to the shopping cart.
    If i click the button on my page, i will be directed to the single product view and the item is not in the cart as in the demoshop.

    Update:
    My problem can be solved if can remove / hide / disable the “add to cart” button in the category pages. I only need the button “view details”.
    I’ve searched for hours, but i can’t find a solution that worked for me.

    I only need the button “view details”.

    This is how it works on your end now, just the button says add to the cart because you have the code in your funcitons.php that changes the button text. You need to exclude the category pages from that.
