It’s been a while since I checked my site, but I was told my buttons were not linking to the right pages (I would get a 404 page).
I tried and tried to relink it to the right page and it just won’t do it anymore. So I made new buttons- same issue.

Hey KK,

Did you reset permalinks? 404 indicates failure to communicate with the server. Reasons for this failure to communicate with the server can vary. For example:
– it could be configuration issue
– it could be memory issue
– it could be permalinks issue, try resetting them.
– it could be optimization issue
– it could be a conflict with plugins, try disabling all active plugins to see if the issue resolves.

I tried everything, I had bluehost try also. I wound up having to manually add the link to the button but curiously, I had to add /? to the end of the URL like this:
https://specialmoderndesign.com/beforeafter-logos/?

now my social media is not showing up on the bottom of this page and others:

Thanks- but click on the link on the homepage at top/center.
It still goes to my 404 page

Hi,

If the permalink changes then obviously you need to update the link from the button as well. I did that for you and it’s working as expected now.

Should I start another query about the Social Media (sharing) icons are not showing up at the bottom of most pages. An example: https://specialmoderndesign.com/justlogos/
all that shows is the Pinterest button for some reason, but if you hover over the others, you will see colored rectangles.
