    Hi,
this is very confusing for users.

You show a symbol that usually stands for “Its actually NOT activated” (grey slider)
At the same time your default text says””Click to disable” (Videos deaktivieren)

1: How can you disable something thats already disabled?
2: Or is it enabled by default and you just confused it?

Please clearify what state the default is and how to change that confusing state

    Hey MarcusJeroch,
Thanks for the feedback, typically this is enabled if you notice the text doesn’t change on click only the button, which as point out is clear in it’s state.
I guess it’s like the saying “half full” or “half empty” so in a sense anything we write the would be wrong 50% of the time, right?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    So whats the default?
    1: disabled?
    2: enabled?

    Hi,
Oh, I think I was looking at the wrong element, I was looking at the settings in the backend, now I think you are looking at the cookie popup, is that correct?
Anyways we are changing that wording in the next version to “Click to enable/disable video embeds.”
Here is what it will look like.

Exactly – and i gave you a screenshot of what i mean in my first post.

So – to make it clear finaly..
1: When the “slider/button” for lets say “Video-embeds” is grey, is video enabled or disabled??
1: When the “slider/button” for lets say “Video-embeds” is green, is video enabled or disabled??

    M.

PS: The wording you aim at is not any better then actually.

    Hi,
    What do you suggest?

    Best regards,
    Mike

I know what it should mean – but since i faced so many unclear situations with Enfold and – in fact – the most horrible translations i ever saw, it might be a good idea to ask.

    Example?
You once should think about “Doppelte Verneinung” ;-)

    Hi,
Ok, but what would you suggest replacing “Click to enable/disable video embeds.” with?

    Best regards,
    Mike
