Why are the texts about the Cookie-regulation on my website in english but on a friends website in german – although we have the same settings??
My website:
“We may request cookies to be set on your device. We use cookies to let us know..”
Friends website:
“Wir können Cookies anfordern, die auf Ihrem Gerät eingestellt werden. Wir verwenden Cookies, um uns mitzuteilen, ”It seems to me meanwhile as if there are so many different variations of your theme available in the respository of Themeforest that you meanwhile lost track.

Our only theme is currently Enfold, we have discontinued our older themes only to focus on Enfold so that is definitely not the case :)
Could you please post a link of your website so we can look into it? My guess is maybe your friends website language is set to German and yours is set to English?

Are you using the same version of the theme? German language file gets updated often so you might have the older version of the file. I attached the latest available German language files in private content field. Please upload them inside /wp-content/themes/enfold/lang/ folder via FTP

Sometimes the update process is not able to update or overwrite the files properly for different reasons, please try the file Yigit share with you.

The file was locked, the update process did not have enough permissions or there was a glitch during the update. The server cached the file and shows the cached version and so on…

Strange, another Mod just gave another user another URL.
Maybe you should talk to each other which you consider the most actual file, otherwise users might think Enfold is a mess.Maren

The default privacy text are not yet translated, so you will have to change them manually for now. You can use the following plugin to adjust the translations.

1: This doubt that this is fact since i know at least one of your customers where these strings have been automated translated.
2: Enfold advertises a lot with “Ready” & “friendly” – SEO, GDPR, Responsive, Translation…but you should not look to close into it – otherwise you might get another image.
