    Hi

My web based on enfold theme is very slow according to google.

Consulting with my hosting offers me this data

I have carefully checked your request and I would like to provide you with some clarification.

I noticed that your website is WordPress based. When WordPress handles a request from a browser, it’s essentially executing as one long PHP script.

I use a tool that breaks the script in three stages:

    * bootstrap is where WordPress is setting itself up, loading plugins and the main theme, and firing the init hook.

    * main_query is how WordPress transforms the request (e.g. /2016/10/21/moms-birthday/) into the primary WP_Query.

    * template is where WordPress determines which theme template to render based on the main query, and renders it.

Here are the results (Without cache):

    +————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
    | stage | time | query_time | query_count | cache_ratio | cache_hits | cache_misses | hook_time | hook_count | request_time | request_count |
    +————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
    | bootstrap | 1.1105s | 0.0274s | 75 | 95.52% | 1663 | 78 | 0.4323s | 10434 | 0s | 0 |
    | main_query | 0.2353s | 0.0992s | 9 | 79.07% | 3423 | 906 | 0.0257s | 2133 | 0s | 0 |
    | template | 11.3279s | 0.2461s | 90 | 98.67% | 136624 | 1836 | 9.412s | 312742 | 3.8021s | 2 |
    +————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
    | total (3) | 12.6737s | 0.3726s | 174 | 91.09% | 141710 | 2820 | 9.87s | 325309 | 3.8021s | 2 |
    +————+———-+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+

    and with cache:

    Code:
    +————+———+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
    | stage | time | query_time | query_count | cache_ratio | cache_hits | cache_misses | hook_time | hook_count | request_time | request_count |
    +————+———+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
    | bootstrap | 1.1194s | 0.0274s | 75 | 95.52% | 1663 | 78 | 0.5454s | 10434 | 0s | 0 |
    | main_query | 0.2189s | 0.0526s | 9 | 79.07% | 3423 | 906 | 0.03s | 2133 | 0s | 0 |
    | template | 6.14s | 0.0407s | 79 | 98.68% | 136364 | 1831 | 4.537s | 311892 | 0s | 0 |
    +————+———+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+
    | total (3) | 7.4782s | 0.1207s | 163 | 91.09% | 141450 | 2815 | 5.1124s | 324459 | 0s | 0 |
    +————+———+————+————-+————-+————+————–+———–+————+————–+—————+

As you can see, the cache is reducing the load time, however the main issue here is caused by your current theme, which is greatly affecting your website performance and loading time.

The root source of the issue appears to be the loop_end hook of your enfold theme:

With each request it takes 5 seconds to load:

    Code:
    | loop_end:before | | 5.5746s | 0.0019s | 14 | 99.41% | 101751 | 607 | 0s | 0 |

We would recommend you to get in touch with the theme developers for more information as we are not familiar with the code and the spirits of your theme.

I would like to know how to solve that long load time

    Thank you

    Hey iqproyecto,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

Did the moderator test the home page? If so, then the posts loop is not generated by the theme. It’s from a plugin loading posts for the “Ultimas Noticias de nuestro Blog” section that are contained in a wrapper that looks something like this.

    <div class="pt-cv-wrapper">

It is probably a shortcode from the plugin because the container is inside a text block element.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
