    Hello,
I am using Enfold on a WordPress Multisite setup. I created a new Site recently and was working on them today and I realized, that on the overview page all Menu Items are shown. It looks really strange and I want them gone. I only find this on this new site.

You can find the page here:
    https://sag-was.com/deine-stimme/

Can anybody help me? I guess it is something easy but I can’t find it…..

    Hey josef_hajda,

I can only see 4 menu items, did you manage to get it working? If not then please assign a menu as your main menu under Appearance->Menus.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hello Rikard,

I guess I described it wrong. It is not about the Menu. The Menu is working perfectly fine. The thing is, when you go to this page
    https://sag-was.com/deine-stimme/

Than you see a Post for every menu Item on this page. Unfortunately I can not attach Screenshots here but there are the numbered Items SWDS 1 to 4, the 00 and 4 other ones corresponding to the menu. Those should not be there….

    Thanks and best regards,
    Josef

    Hi!

Those are default widgets. You can replace them in Appearance > Widgets. If you would not like to display them, you can insert empty HTML widget in Blog Overview widget area :)

    Regards,
    Yigit

    Hey Yigit,

I think we are still talking about different things. Here is a Screenshot where I marked the elements in red which I want to get rid of
    http://sag-was.com/deine-stimme/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2019/12/Bildschirmfoto-2019-12-02-um-16.53.42.png

I can’t find any widgets who are responsible for this. It is not the sidebar but the main content. The blocks without images on
    https://sag-was.com/deine-stimme/
those are also linked to nowhere….

    Hope I could clarify things.
    Thank you and best regards,
    Josef

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, and thanks for the login. I took a look at your settings, but I have a concern because many of your setting are not showing, such as your “start page”, “blog page”, WordPress “home page”, “blog page”, your “plugins” and “theme editor” (to see what custom functions are)

I can see you are using the JetPack plugin, so either you have a plugin that is causing a conflict, or you are using a “user ui” plugin. So please try disabling your plugins because there seems to be a conflict somewhere.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hello Mike,

I deactivated Jetpack which is a bit of a hassle but it is done now. I see the problem you are describing and it still persists.

It works on my main page sag-was.com but not on the different multisites. So is there any known issue with using enfold on multisites? Or is there anything I need to change in the Theme to make it work properly with Multisites?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Josef

    Hi,

No, this should not be an issue at all. But just a question, are you assigning the size globally or you do it on each different site?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    #1164807

    Hi Basilis,

which Size are you talking about?

    thanks and best regards,
    Josef

    #1165336

    Hi,

For the image preview image, there is the issue, right?

    Best regards,
    Basilis

    #1165484

    Hi Basilis,

it is kind of difficult that every time different people answer this thread.

I got two issues. Number one is that all the menu points appear on the overview page.
I marked the wrong ones here:
    http://sag-was.com/deine-stimme/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2019/12/Bildschirmfoto-2019-12-02-um-16.53.42.png

The other thing is in fact, that the preview images on the overview just startet to look strange and have the wrong size. I do the layout for each site of the multisite separately, so I guess the answer is I don’t do them locally.

a bit before I sent you login data for an admin account. This is still active, so feel free to have a look.

    Best regards,
    Josef

    Hi,
There seems to be a conflict with a plugin on your site, but I can not be sure because your site doesn’t allow us access to your plugin page, I get this error:

Du bist leider nicht berechtigt, auf diese Seite zuzugreifen.

Also as I pointed out before your theme settings for your “start page” and “blog page” are not showing
    2019-12-08-163511
and your WordPress settings for your “start page” and “blog page” are not showing, which should look like this:
    2019-12-14-080742
I checked your Podlove plugin for a setting to choose which items are chosen to show on your homepage but found none.
I assume that Podlove is assigning the custom template that is creating the pages in your menu that you don’t want to show on your homepage, but I don’t see the setting and you “post”, pages” and “portfolio” admin pages are all empty, yet there are more grid items than are showing in your “episodes” admin page.
I’m starting to believe that you have a user security plugin and we don’t have full access to your site, is this correct?

    Best regards,
    Mike

    #1165952

    Hi Mike,

your account is an admin account for this page within the multisite. So no Security Plugin should interfere. Do I need to give you full access for the whole page and make you Superadmin? not my favorite, but I could do that, if it helps. Shall I?

    Thanks and best regards,
    Josef

    #1165969

    Hi,
Thank you for the feedback, after researching about PodLove some more I found that you will need to create a custom taxonomy by using this function:

    add_theme_support('add_avia_builder_post_type_option');
    add_theme_support('avia_template_builder_custom_post_type_grid');

and then add your taxonomy to the episodes, but not your pages, then if you use the ALB or shortcodes and choose that taxonomy it will only show your episodes and not the pages. Such as in this example.

So we can understand better, are you using the blog post element in the Advanced Layout Builder to create your episode grid pages, or are you using PodLove shortcodes to create the grid? [podlove-episode-list] If you are using PodLove shortcodes, then there must be variables that you can add to the shortcodes to filter what is shown, in which case please ask the PodLove support, because we don’t know their shortcodes. Or are you using a template like this? If that is the case then I would think that the PodLove support would have a filter for that too.

    Best regards,
    Mike

    Hi MIke,
    Thanks for your support.
I am not using anything to create the grid right now…. I just setup the page and the grid was there…. I will look into it. Thank you very much!
    Bestregards,
    Josef
