    Hi there,
I would like to use the avia builder for customizing those auto-generated archive pages that are used for displaying the single entries at once on category pages for portfolio/blog.

I researched the topic – could not find any solution, but this topic is very close to my case – https://kriesi.at/support/topic/changing-the-layout-for-post-categories/

As far as I have understand, There are two options:

    A) Changing the category PHP-file with custom coding – which is impossible for me
    B) Having a page for each category and use the layout options from the avia builder (easy) – which I am consider to do and implement 301 redirects from the category URLs to the new pages for that.

So, is there a way to use the avia builder on the archive pages?

    Cheers,
    Aleksandra

    Hey mandalova,

No, it is not possible to use the Advanced Layout Builder for the category pages.

I am not sure if you can get the b option working but you can try.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Thank you, Victoria!

You may consider this ticket closed as I chose option B.
Additionally I publish a case study on the topic in my personal blog:

    Happy Holidays,
    Aleksandra
