    The wordpress media button – Upload media button is missing when we use the theme and navigate to a page, open it and edit it, and try to add a new image, file or video, using the Upload Files tab in the Media library the upload media button is missing. The upload button does appear if we go directly to Media and try to add a file, It is not showing when we try to use it to add a specific image, file or video directly in a page.
    The theme has been updated to the latest version. WordPress is on the latest version and we are running php version 7.

    Have you tried disabling all active plugins to see if the issue resolves?
