I have just published my first post and am needing to improve it. I had brief local tech support to get this initially set up. Now I am on my own.
1) currently I use “Default (Business)” Styling. Is there somewhere I can see a sample of ‘Elegant’ and ‘Modern Business’, the other 2 options? I have not found them and prefer not to just try them blindly.
2) Since this is my 1st entry, how do I set where subsequent blog posts appear? I imagine, or would prefer, that the most current is what shows first, and then a sidebar perhaps (?) that shows prior posts in descending order chronologically, so viewers could immediately see articles of interest & skip others.
3) I would like the entire blog page to have much more white space/(margins?) on the sides, more so than the main site pages; currently they are the same. And, if I wanted to change the font for just the blog posts, perhaps you can lead me to a definitive guide for such changes.Thank you much!!
November 27, 2019 at 2:07 am #1160535Hey crgrayaz,
Thank you for the inquiry.
1.) You can always revert the blog options back if you don’t like the result. But if you really need an example, please check the following demo.
Elegant: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-lifestyle-blog/
Modern: https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-2017/blog/2.) Yes, the posts are ordered chronologically or by date, so the latest posts will display first. You can also adjust it if necessary. Set the Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout settings to the very last option so that you can use the advance layout builder for the default blog page. Edit the blog page, add a Blog Posts element, configure it accordingly, then look for the Orderby settings.
3.) You can add the following css code in the Enfold > General Styling > Quick CSS field to adjust the maximum container width of the blog page.
#top.blog .fullsize .template-blog .post .entry-content-wrapper { max-width: 600px; }
Please don’t forget to toggle the Performance > File Compression settings or disable them temporarily after adding the modification.
Also, please try to post each inquiry in separate threads next time so that you can receive a faster response. We don’t recommend posting multiple questions on a single thread because it may get quite confusing for moderators and other users who might be looking for the same solutions or answers. Thank you for understanding.
Best regards,

And I will try your suggestions once I’m back to my computer, post-holiday vacation in a day or 2.December 2, 2019 at 2:08 am #1161706Regarding, as you’ve said, my option to “revert the blog options”, would this be “Reset all options” at the bottom (of Enfold Theme Options/Blog Layout)? With so many options checked or not (‘share links’, ‘blog meta elements’, etc.), just want to be sure.
