Good afternoon. I have recently upgraded my website WordPress 5.3 and have noticed that on the pages/posts/portfolio items where I have an Easy Slider at the top of the page, it’s showing blank white space.
I upgraded Enfold to V4.6.3.1 to see if it resolves the problem but it didn’t.
I thought that perhaps it was an issue with Chrome, so I tested it on Firefox and on Safari on my mobile phone and I get the same result.
I have also tested it to see if it affects only blog posts, but it seems pages and portfolio items are affected as well. As all my blog posts and tutorials have an easy slider at the top, I am keen to get this resolved.
Here are blog posts that have an easy slider at the top and they are all showing blank space
Here is a portfolio item that has an easy slider at the top and this is showing a blank space
Here is a page that has some test text, then a slider, then more test text – there is a blank space where the slider should display
Here is a blog post that has an image at the top instead of a slider and that seems to work ok.
Your help would be greatly appreciated. I can provide you login details if you would like to check the back end.

Here is a page that’s showing blank squares, yet when you click on the image it shows okNovember 16, 2019 at 9:58 am #1157423Further to my previous messages – I have just figured out if I disable a plugin called Smush, which I installed for image compression and optimisation, the slider, photo gallery and logo seem to work ok on Chrome and Safari, but still not on Firefox, so I’m a little confused as to what might be causing this problem..
Can you recommend another image compression plugin which I can use instead.

Thanks for the updates, I’m glad that you found the cause of your problems. We can’t really vouch 100% for any plugin, but here’s a list with different ones you could try out as an alternative: https://www.wpbeginner.com/plugins/best-wordpress-image-compression-plugins-compared/
