I have a few pages I am trying to update and the changes are not being “saved” when I click update. I can see them on the revisions, and even when I switch themes from Enfold they are there.
I have uploaded a clean copy of the theme, had our server increase memory etc. This is only happening on some of the posts. I have enabled the debug but all looks good. Not sure what I am missing.

Where can we see and reproduce the problem you are having?

Thanks for the details. I had a look at the page you mentioned but the backend seems to correspond to what is on front. Do we have to change something in order to reproduce the problem?

RikardNovember 8, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1155052If you make a change that will not stick….. that is what I have been saying. We make a change and click the update button, it acts like it is saving, and then it’s back to the way it was before the change. If you look at the revisions you would see the changes and if we change the theme the changes are indeed there.

VictoriaNovember 11, 2019 at 6:03 pm #1155691Hi Victoria,
Why would this affect one post but not others?
And neither one of those programs is new to our site. This issue is recent.

November 12, 2019 at 6:09 am #1155827Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m not sure if it’s causing your problem, but you have deprecated markup in your content:
<font face="homemade apple">You’re Invited to Brittany’s Boo Bash!</font>
The font tag is not supported in HTML5: https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_font.asp.
Could you try to remove that markup to see if it makes any difference please? Also try to remove the emoticons on the top of the page.
Best regards,
RikardNovember 12, 2019 at 7:07 pm #1156089Richard, thank you but that is not the post that I having an issue with. The page is https://www.certifiedcelebrator.com/brittanys-boobash/

November 13, 2019 at 6:52 am #1156295Hi,
Thanks for the clarification, I’ve looking at the wrong page then. I tried adding some content and save, but the change would not save. I’m not sure why unfortunately. What happens if you disable all plugins to see if there is a conflict coming from any of them?
Best regards,
RikardNovember 13, 2019 at 9:52 pm #1156535There seems to be no “conflict” that I can track down. And this we call it a bug only affects some post and not others. The change is in the revisions and if we change themes we see it the change, but defeats the purpose as then none of the pages look like the theme we have been using… :)
November 22, 2019 at 1:00 am #1158959Hi,
We would like to apologize for the delay and thank you for sharing the details.
I suspect an incorrect HTML tag to be the reason for this issue.
I have created a private test page (Please find the link in private content area) and checked for the same issue and it works fine. I can edit the page without any issue. Please feel free to edit this newly created test page :)
I assure you there is no bug in the theme. This is caused because of an incorrect HTML tag inserted in one of the text areas. You can simply re-create the page or try to find out which tag is not properly closed and that should fix the issue for you :)
Best regards,
Vinay -
