I have three custom post templates that modify single.php so that I can have different header backgrounds and tagline for three separate blog sections. If I use the advanced layout builder on a post, it displays fine if I am using the default template. When I assign one of the custom post templates the content does not display at all except for the featured image. If I revert to the default editor, the content displays fine. But I’d like to be able to use the advanced layout builder for some more elaborate posts. I did not delete anything from the single.php, it names the template which labels the page with CSS that defines the header background. I do use custom helper-menu files in the includes folder in order to insert different taglines in place of the phone info.
Hey Steeleroo,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)

Thanks for the reply, but I don’t completely understand and wonder if you understand my question … which I didn’t really ask.
I have the files customized to do exactly what I want to do. But I don’t understand why it works for pages but not for posts? Is there a modification I need to make to the page editor files as well? Is there something about the single post file that would treat the advanced page layout content differently than the page file?
Hi Steeleroo,
The pages built with the Advanced Layout Builder are rendered with the /enfold/template-builder.php file and so the changes in the single.php will not apply in this case.
Best regards,
Victoria
