    Hi, so this isn’t meant as a slight but I know the developers we have been working with keep mentioning how Elementor has leapfrogged the competition and this is what we should switch to. I don’t want to change themes as I have been very happy with Enfold and especially the support but they have brought up the problems with the Enfold Advanced Layout Builder being all short codes based and how that doesn’t integrate well with Gutenberg. They have a point and it makes me wonder what the roadmap for Enfold looks like as they also pointed to how a number of competitors (like Avada) are moving in the direction of what Elementor has done. Is there anything you are willing to share in this regard?

    Hey William,

    We are moving in that direction as well, though I can’t give you any time frame as to when it would be finished unfortunately. We are looking to rebuild the whole Enfold Layout Builder from scratch and to get rid of the use of shortcodes.
