    Hi,

    I am working with a new customer that has a wordpress website. His current theme is Enfold and it needs an update to work with new website. (has not been updated in years) Anyway he is saying he got everything through godaddy websites in about 2016. Was this an available theme back then through godaddy? He swears he never bought it through envato and am stummped on what I need to do to get it updated? Do I need to buy another instance of it from themeforest?

    Hi,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Your customer is currently using a very old version of the theme which is not compatible with the latest version of WordPress and PHP.

    You would need an access to ThemeForest account that was used to purchase the theme to download the latest version. Does your customer have a license? In case they have, maybe you could contact Envato support and they might be able to help. But if they do not have, i am afraid you might need to purchase a new license.
