Just updated a client’s old WP site (Coherence) with the Enfold theme. All was working correctly on dev site, but after migration to live folder, the button formats when linking to a PDF are not displaying correctly. See screen grabs:

    Button display issue
    Dev site – displaying CORRECTLY:

    Live site – displaying INCORRECTLY
    https://screencast.com/t/zZA4szqI496M

    Instagram issue:
Realize this is a known issue you are working on but oddly, like above, widget is working on dev site, but not live site.
    Dev site:

    Live site:

Side note: As we were replacing the old theme (Coherence) with Enfold, we had to keep PHP set at older version for Coherence theme and updated dev site to PHP 7.2. When we migrated we didn’t update PHP until after migration. Not sure if that would make a difference, but wanted you to be aware of all variables.

    Hope you can help diagnose.

    Sincerely
    Brett

    Hey CampCarysbrook,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

We can’t see the page because it is password protected and the login account above doesn’t have an admin role. Please set the account user role to admin so that we can check the page.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

My bad. The dev site is password protected. Have provided that access in Personal Content section. First access the dev site with the single password and then login into site the same as you would the live site.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

The stylesheets in the live site is currently merged or compressed. Please go to the Enfold > Performance panel and disable the File Compression settings temporarily. If there is a cache and minification plugins installed in the site, disable them for a while or purge the cache, before checking the buttons in the “Camper Forms” page again. Let us know how it goes.

    Best regards,

Disabled CSS file merging and compression in Performance setting under Enfold.

Deleted the cache then disabled WP Super Cache plugin.

Waited a while and cleared the browser cache and still no luck.

Will leave the settings as is and check again in AM. But, needless to say, will welcome any additional ideas.

    Thanks for your initial efforts.

Just a thought? But could we just replace the css folder in live with the dev site’s css folder?

    Ismael,
Took a look at the site and the buttons and Instagram appear to be fixed. Wondering if you followed up on this?

on that page f.e: https://campcarysbrook.com/fees-registration/camper-forms/ the little icons are inserted by a plugin or via script.
Maybe this tries to insert on the same way a pdf icon before the enfold button and destroyes the structure.
There are ways via quick css to replace the enfold icon with your: https://campcarysbrook.com/wp-content/plugins/mimetypes-link-icons/images/pdf-icon-16×16.png
