I have Ajax portfolio grids with detailed architectural drawings. Viewers would like the option to use their screen magnifiers to zoom in to see details and read small font text. This would be after they click on the image to get it in the expanded view.
My images are quite large (png’s around 8000 px by 5000 px) to allow zooming in for detail. However when I use “inspect element” I see for the applicable image class “mfp-img” the max-height is set at 932px. I believe this is preventing viewers from properly seeing details. When they use the screen magnifier to zoom in, it’s pixelated and not clear.
Could you please let me know how I may maintain the sharp resolution for these detailed drawings in my portfolio?
Thank you very much for your advice!
Hey ezdginc2017,

Hi Victoria,
Thank you for making this video and sending. It looks like there is no audio though and I am still unsure of what I can do to allow viewers to zoom in, using their screen magnifier, on the images of architectural drawings and see details. The images are being made too small to see details/type when viewers zoom in. Maybe there’s another way to go about this?
Thank you again for your advice.

Hi ezdginc2017,
Maybe the lightbox is not sufficient for you. You might want to look for a plugin that allows zoom in significantly the large, very detailed images like drawings.
Best regards,
Victoria
