    Hey,

    we’re seeing huge issues with LayerSlider WP on pagespeed tools like Pagespeed Insights and also Webpagetest.org for mobile devices. While the loading time on desktop versions is very decent, on mobile devices it is just sad. We tested the same website with different sub-pages – some with Layer Sliders on them, some without – and see a huge difference on our test results.

    For example, the same sub-page without LayerSlider is getting 63 points on mobile devices. As soon as we add a single LayerSlider, the rating drops to 37.

    Disabling the LayerSlider on mobile devices just seems to display:none it.

    It is possible check for mobile devices on the server side via PHP. Is there a way to dequeue the LayerSlider scripts and styles via PHP, so we can get rid of all the over bloat on mobile devices?

    Hey HITFighter,

    Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you or look for a plugin that help to use the conditional loading like that :)
