Hi, I have setup a page using layout builder which displays my blog posts in a nice grid layout with title and excerpt showing. However, when you click on one of the categories in the sidebar, or one of the months in the archive section, I get one big long page containing the full content of every article.
I have found many posts on this subject within the forum and I have tried all of the solutions which require additional functions to be added to functions.php. However, none of them have worked for me. Please can you help?

Category pages use a separate template and so they will not look the same as the blog page.

Thank you for your reply. As mentioned in my initial post, I have tried all of the solutions which involve pasting something into functions.php, but none of them have worked.

What do you mean, they did not work? The layout did not change? The look is not what you expected or there were some errors?

I tried a number of different functions and styles from various support threads, including the one you referred me to, but they had no effect on the layout at all.
