Hi,
I love your theme! I just have a couple of requests:
1) I actually don’t like the spam control as you can see is not well aligned in all screens:
http://www.fatello.it/
Is it possible to insert a normal or invisible recaptcha instead?
2) I need to insert a specific text at the bottom of the email that the site owner will receive – as it should be written somewhere that the user gave his consent to the contact form’s privacy policy – I cant’ find this field so I guess I should change the code somewhere …Thank you,

Thank you for the inquiry.
1.) Use V3 version of the spam protection instead of V2 to get rid of the widget. This will automatically authenticate the user in the background without any interaction.
2.) You can use the “avf_form_message” filter to insert additional content in the email message. Usage example can be found in the following thread.

Thank you for the update.
The site contains an older version of the theme, 4.5.7. You should update it to version 4.6.3.1 and reconfigure the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies options. Set the “Default Cookie Behaviour” settings to the first option if you want the spam protection to work immediately on initial load without user interaction.
Best regards,

Thank you for the update.
1.) The other options will be visible once you enabled the cookie consent bar.
If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Thanks!
Best regards,

I’m using another cookie banner … can’t I use the antispam as well?October 18, 2019 at 6:02 am #1149110Hi,
Thank you for the update.
What do you mean by “another cookie banner“? Are you using a plugin? The spam protection or the Google reCAPTCHA option in the theme will only work with the default contact form.
Best regards,
