Hi,
I have been asked to build a website to match visuals supplied by a client.
He would like the blog page to run horizontally, alternating excerpt on left & picture on the right, then the next row picture on the left excerpt on the right and so on. Please see supplied link in private area.I have been able to do this by using List Layout for the excerpt and Grid Layout for the image, with each item displaying one item, and then offsetting each entry running down the page.
I have realised that this is a problem as it will not include pagination as they add more blogs.
Can you please take a look and let me know if this kind of layout is achievable in any other way?
Thanks very much

My colleague added a holding page plugin. Please use the link in the private area and then use the menu to navigate.
Thanks
JohnOctober 10, 2019 at 8:50 pm #1146934Hi,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( do be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,
BasilisOctober 11, 2019 at 10:20 am #1147070Thanks Basilis, please see private area. There’s lots of quick CSS in there, but it’s all commented with what it’s for.
October 13, 2019 at 9:36 am #1147522Hi jonrouse,
I see you have the link to all other posts at the bottom, this way your visitors can read other posts. There is no other element in Enfold with such a layout, unfortunately. Also, if the new post is available, you’ll need to redo the whole page, which is not very convenient.
You might want to consider the Masonry or the post grid for the blog page as they are more suited for the use case.
Best regards,
VictoriaOctober 14, 2019 at 10:52 am #1147791Thanks Victoria.
That’s exactly what I would’ve done, but as mentioned in a previous post, this site was designed by someone who doesn’t know Enfold, so I’ve had to bend it into shape.
Thanks for taking the time to look into it, I think what we’ve done is the best compromise, but running it past you experts gives me confirmation of that!
