I have a restricted key. Yes, I have attached my credit card. Yes, I have the maps javascript api enabled, yes I have the geocodes api enabled. Yes, I am getting frustrated. I made a new key. I made sure that everything was verified. I made sure that google analytics was working. I even got long and lat and put it in and that didn’t work. Suggestions???

Thanks for the details, the WordPress login is not working though so I couldn’t check the backend of your site. This is the error message Google is giving you: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages?utm_source=maps_js&utm_medium=degraded&utm_campaign=billing#api-key-and-billing-errors. Maybe you can find the solution in the suggestions listed there?

The map seems to be displaying properly now and we were able to reconnect when we validate the API key. Did you figure this out? (see private field)

Actually, I’m not sure what went wrong. I deleted the API, went through the process FOUR more times and then it worked. I did the API process exactly the same each time. I didn’t find it a fun experience. I do appreciate your “checker” so at least I knew when it worked.

The API takes time to propagate or initialize, usually 5 minutes up to an hour, so you have to wait for a bit before you can actually use it. Anyway, we’re glad that the map is finally working now. Please don’t hesitate to open a new thread if you need anything else.
