Tagged: google api key
Hi there,
I installed my 8th Enfold theme 3 weeks ago .
There was a Google API key pre installed, but the google Map didn´t work
.
Now I enter a new API Key without restrictions, but is not accepted.
I hope you can help me
Cheers – Markus
Hi Markus,
You haven’t added an API key under Enfold->Google Service. Could you try to do so please? http://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/how-to-register-a-google-maps-api-key/
Best regards,
Rikard
Hi danieltyrala,
Please open a new thread and include WordPress admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look at your site.

Hi Rikard
Thanks for your prompt reply!
That is more then weird! I had entered a key and it´s vanished. How is this possible??
Now I have requested another one. It wasn´t accepted either.
After a while, the blue box below appeared saying everything was okay – but the map didn´t show up. :-(
I pressed again on the “Check API Key” button and the blue button turn into a black one again.
I added a link to some screenshots, which might help to solve this mystery ..
Thnks for your help
Markus
BTW – I follow the steps as suggested in the help page
Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
@mknobloch: We noticed that the site is running an older version of the theme, 4.5.7. Please upgrade it to 4.6.2.
Did you generate another API key? Make sure that there is an attached billing account in your Google Project and that the site is included in the list of HTTP restrictions. Provide the API key in the private field so that we can see the error.
Best regards,
Ismael
