    Hello,

I want to disable the default AVIA builder provided by Enfold theme and use Divi builder. I disabled the Avia builder using a hook and activated Divi builder.

But, when I open a page in edit mode the Divi builder shows error in the console and the loader for the Divi builder keeps loading. I tried switching Enfold theme with default wordpress theme i.e., Twenty Nineteen theme. The Divi builder worked perfectly with the default theme. But it does not work when I activate Enfold theme. Can you please help me through this issue?

Please note: I have not activated my license for the Enfold theme but activated the license for Divi builder. Can it be the reason for the issue?

    Hey TaniaEllis_DK,

Enfold is made to work with Avia Page builder. The error is like due to the fact that a Divi function is looking for an element that does not exist in Enfold as it was not built to be used in conjunction with Divi.

    Best regards,
    Jordan Shannon

    Hi Jordan,

Thanks for the response. I understand that the theme is build to work with Avia builder. But is there any way to make it work with the Divi builder?

Sorry to ask you now why you’re not using Divi directly. It’s a powerful theme from the point of view of possibilities, but it’s just this Divi Builder that keeps me from using the Divi theme frequently. The intuitive usability of the Enfold (ALB) is the big advantage of that theme. Besides the good support.

    Hi,

The theme comes with its own layout builder which I would recommend you to use. We don’t have any plans on implementing compatibility with any third party builders unfortunately.

I like the Divi theme and Page Builder, but there is a very good reason why I have stuck with Enfold for the vast majority of my clients: they want to edit pages themselves. ALB is MUCH more intuitive and simple to use. Yes, Divi can do like anything, but it has a steep learning curve and is almost impossible to throw at people who struggle with WordPress/computers. That’s the true beauty of Enfold. It does more than enough and can be extended and modified, but it’s great for customers who want to change things themselves!
