Have downgraded to previous version as current version when adding something to basket instead of adding it actually clears the basket. I think the latest version has introduced a supurious error which does not seem to show when you are logged in as admin but only for normal visitors.
Was latest version WC and Enfold..
September 2, 2019 at 3:13 pm #1133024I have the same thing. Adding to cart with Woocommerce doesn’t work any more. Will try to downgrade Enfold as well.
September 3, 2019 at 12:17 pm #1133328it seems to be related to the broken cookie consent part. rolling back fixes this
September 3, 2019 at 5:52 pm #1133488Hi,
To verify the problem we would need a site where we can see it and a WP admin account to check the backend.
I checked it on my install and cannot reproduce it.
Create a new thread and post the credentials and a link to the site in private content please.
Best regards,
GünterSeptember 4, 2019 at 7:55 am #1133637Not the most helpful as If I update it, it breaks the site.. it is related to the cookie consent bar which never goes away. I am loathed to update the site and break it.. will wait for the fix as 4.6 has obv introduced myriad errors for people.
I should point out that if you are logged in as admin you can add things to basket.. If you are not logged in, basket will clear.. cookie issue- This reply was modified 5 years, 2 months ago by mrkuji.
September 4, 2019 at 8:57 am #1133679Same for me. Won’t upgrade until it is fixed.
The cookie consent bar was coming back each page, besides not able to add things into the shopping basket. What I think is that because of the cookie issue, each action/refresh/page call is seen as “new” visitor. Therefore the cookie bar stays (every time unknown visitor, so act like new visit) AND nothing gets added to the basket.
This information should be enough to fix it I hope.
September 4, 2019 at 3:45 pm #1133889Hi,
Could you please create a testing site where we can see the issue?
I checked it on my fresh local installation with Enfold 4.6 and WooCommerce 3.7.0 however i cannot reproduce the issue as well. I tried it as admin and as visitor on incognito window.Regards,

If you need to downgrade then open a new ticket and we’ll send you the previous version in private.

September 9, 2019 at 5:18 pm #1136139Hi,
Thanks for the link.
I’m getting a Javascript error:
SyntaxError: unexpected token: identifier
Not sure, where this comes from as everything is minified.
We will release 4.6.2 very soon and a documentation for the updated DSGVO implementation 4.6.
As a first step please try to update to 4.6.1. (you can also try it with 4.6 – should work when you follow the following steps).
Uncheck “Modal Window with Privacy and Cookie Info” in theme options – this creates a CSS hidden content needed for the new DSGVO supporting must opt in. As you do not use a button to link to it it does disturb.
Then as a first step disable the minifying plugins and caching plugins, clear all server cache and check. You must accept cookies to hide the message bar.
Then step by step use caching and minifying.Best regards,
