Hello
I have a problem with the mandatory fields for forms.
Basically, this works, only if someone fills out the form on an iPhone, the form can also be sent without mandatory fields.
Of course this is not ideal.
What can I do here?
Thank youP.’s Sorry translated with Google ;-)
Update: Sorry this only affects checking e-mail addresses.

Thank you for using Enfold.
Did you enable the “Form Element Validation”, or at least set it to “Is not empty”? The form should not be sent without filling in the mandatory fields. Please post the login details in the private field so that we can check the form.
Best regards,

We solved the problem in such a way that the validation is only “can not be empty”. Then it works. Here on the test page, I again set the validation “e-mail address”. This does not work on iPhone (in any case with me and the customer ;-))
September 9, 2019 at 9:57 am #1135867Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We can’t seem to reproduce the issue on a browser emulator. We’ll forward the issue to the team. Please post the WP and FTP details in the private field so that we can debug the issue.
Best regards,
IsmaelSeptember 10, 2019 at 8:55 pm #1136768Hi,
The dev team has released a fix for the Contact Form Validation iOS bug,
Please try to create a backup copy of the file at:
\enfold\config-templatebuilder\avia-shortcodes\contact\contact.js
and replace with this contact.js
Then clear your browser cache and any cache plugin, and check.
Please note that js files can be hard to clear from caching and minifying plugins, so please try a few times.Best regards,
Mike -
