Hi Guys,
This is a bug that happens only occasionally. It can happen 10 times in a row, then resolve on the 11th try. Or happen once and then not again for a while.
The bug is as follows:
– When editing a ‘column’ layout element, in Edit->Layout, I make edits, click Save, and then click Update to publish the change.
– I notice the change hasn’t happened and go back into the column element, and see that the changes I made did not save.
– Same happens if I don’t click Update – just clicking Save, then going back in – sometimes the changes don’t save.
– Sometimes trying over and over again eventually works to fix this, but sometimes it does not.
– Sometimes reloading the page works, but sometimes it does not.I’ve left my credentials if you want to try to reproduce it on my site…but it doesn’t happen all the time, so you might have difficulty trying to.
Are you familiar with this bug?
Thanks :)

Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?
Best regards,
VictoriaAugust 31, 2019 at 5:24 pm #1132545Sorry about that Victoria, correct credentials are below :)
The specific setting where I noticed this bug is when adjusting the padding values in:
Column Settings–>Layout–>Inner Padding
(uncheck Apply To All and try to adjust the padding values)As I said you may have trouble reproducing it because sometimes it happens a lot, and others not at all.
Thanks!

I’m working on my site right now and experiencing this bug all the time :(
September 5, 2019 at 9:45 am #1134258Hi,
Sorry for the delay.
Do you actually click the “Save” button when you exit the element editor after changing the options? You have to click “Save”, otherwise the element will not be updated.

Yes, clicking Save every time, but the changes do not save.
Thanks
DSeptember 6, 2019 at 4:43 pm #1135001Hi,
Thanks for the update.
We can’t seem to reproduce the issue on a test page. We updated it a number of times. (see private field)

IsmaelSeptember 6, 2019 at 4:47 pm #1135003Hi,
UPDATE: We did notice that the icons are not displaying properly. It seems to be an issue with the animation.

IsmaelSeptember 6, 2019 at 5:04 pm #1135006Hi Ismael,
The bug involves column layout elements only. There were no columns on your test page.
I’ve updated the test page with a 3-column layout.
So far I haven’t been able to reproduce the bug on it, but as I mentioned, it only happens once in a while.
(but when it does, it stays around for a while and is very annoying)Thanks
DSeptember 9, 2019 at 11:13 am #1135895Hi,
Thank you for the update.
We just updated the page again, but we still can’t reproduce the issue. Is it happening on a specific page?

IsmaelSeptember 23, 2019 at 9:08 am #1140884Hi,
I am also experiencing similar problem!! Never had such issue before!
When I finish some elements update, I save and click “update”, the added elements not show and even some original elements disappear! Really upset!
Could you help?Regards,
EnffieSeptember 23, 2019 at 10:29 am #1140947Hi trianglehomeware_,
Please start a separate thread, describe your issue there and give us a link to your website.
Also, please check the page for the unclosed html tags, this is one of the most common reasons for the issue.
