Dear Kriesi,
I have updated my Enfold theme to 4.5.7. but the Cookkie problem is still not solved. So in short my website stays very slow and the PHPSESSID cookie is still active in the tests.
Hopefully you have more tips what I could do, because my webhoster just sent me the last update below.Kind Regards

As you already indicated, I have updated the website to the latest version. Then I had the web host do another test. but it came to the conclusion that the update language does not bire a solution for the problem. The homepage slider is also very heavy.
According to Pingdom, the loading time and performance is very poor. See link to the report.
My webhoster also responded to the problem below after a few tests in the staging environment, there were some more theme errors.
I am no longer visible in Google on page 1, while I was already for many years. This takes a lot of time and money.
I thought that if I went for the Enfold theme, I would have a very fast website, but it turned out not to be true. Please, please help me as soon as possible because I don’t remember.
See the explanation of my technical web host below:
(Hello Silvio,
I have examined it for a while and it appears to be in the theme. https://nlzazo-tamamovic.savviihq.com
I have now adjusted 2 PHP files on staging (galerie.php and masonary_entries.php) so that they cannot execute “session_start”.
As far as no things go wrong I see. What also strikes me is that your layerslider on your homepage is very slow or unresponsive.
Some error messages also come up there. It is possible that this happened when you updated the theme.
He gives a 502 bath gateway at the following address:Request URL:

The adjustments on staging could also be implemented on production, but frankly you don’t want that either, because it will be undone in the next update.
I would contact Enfold and complain. To be honest, I would no longer continue to work on this theme in the future. If you have any questions, please let me know.)

Thank you for the update.
We have already given you a snippet to disable any session created by the theme. Any sessions created after that is no longer added by the theme, so you have to trace where it’s coming from. This is your previous thread.
It’s very unlikely that this will significantly slow down the page unless you’re on a shared hosting. Yes, it might hinder the varnish cache but the site should load fine with or without it as long as the site is on a decent server.
Best regards,
