    Hello. In Theme Options–>Footer–>Copyright I want to display the copyright symbol, the current year, and my company name (FeedXL). In that field I have entered:

    © <script type="text/JavaScript"> document.write(new Date().getFullYear()); </script> FeedXL

    But what is displayed on the page is:

    © 2019 FeedXL – Enfold WordPress Theme by Kriesi

    screenshot. Why is my desired text appended with ‘ – Enfold WordPress Theme by Kriesi?’ And how can I remove it?

    Hey FeedXL2019,

    I’m not sure if your script will work from that field, you might need a shortcode or similar instead. You can add this in the copyright field to remove the backlink though:

    [nolink]

    OK thanks, your [nolink] shortcode worked. Also, FYI, the script does indeed work as expected from that field.

    We can consider this resolved.
