    Rikard,

    As requested here is the new thread with WordPress log-in details (please see the link below in the private content area). As mentioned I´m having the same problem as in previous threads. I´ve managed to log-in in recovery mode and found the following error messages:
    “The active theme is broken. Reverting to the default theme.”

    Then as I scroll to the bottom of the themes page I find the following message:
    Broken Themes
    The following themes are installed but incomplete.

    Name Description
    enfold Stylesheet is missing. Delete

    I´ve not deleted the stylesheet or changed anything since the last wordpress update. When I click on the webpage it doesn´t have any styling and looks nothing like it should. Many many thanks for your help!!

    Hey ProTravelGolf,

    Why do you have Enfold child and not the Enfold itself?

    Please, download the latest version from Themeforest, upload it and see if it fixes the issue?

    Hi,

    Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#ftp-install and try installing the theme via FTP. Also, please make sure you are uploading installable version only.

    You Sir are a legend!!!! Thank you ever so much! The site is now back up and running perfectly! The new theme updates look great! You guys do an amazing job!!!

    Two last questions:
    1. You have kindly installed the parent theme and activated the child theme which is perfect and I thank you for. I just wanted to check whether the child theme that is active is the child theme that I created previously or if it is a new one that you have created for me?

    2. Will having this child theme activated prevent the changes that you make to the parent theme from affecting the site? I´ve been having problems with the site each time the parent theme was updated so I´m not sure that the child theme was correctly installed previously?

    1- It is the one you have created. I have not uploaded a child theme, i only installed Enfold parent theme.

    2- I have not made any changes on parent theme, i just installed it. What kind of issues were you having? If they reoccur, could you please let us know so we can see the issue? :)

    Thanks for your quick reply! I had the child theme activated before and yet every time you guys update the theme my page still goes awol and I have to put bits back together again! I was under the impression that by having the child theme installed that this wouldn’t happen?

    Which of the pages are going missing after an update? The update should not affect the content of your installation or the database.
