I have the latest version of Enfold (4.5.7) and I added the API-keys for Google reCAPTCHA in the settings, but despite this, nothing appears on my contact form. Instead I can either choose to have no captcha or the simple equation one. However, regardless of what I choose, nothing happens when I press send. Only if I remove the reCAPTCHA from the theme settings can I actually submit the form again.

Is this a known problem? How do I fix it?

    Hey easyminingdb,

Have you tried disabling active plugins to see if the issue resolves?

    Best regards,

Yes, I tried to disable the plugins I have (WP Statistics and Polylang) didn’t do any difference.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Which version of the spam protection are you using? The v3 version automatically authenticate the users — it will not show a security widget. For that, you have to use v2.

The latest version of the theme contains an improved spam protection feature. You can try it if you want. (see private field)

    Best regards,
    Ismael

I am using v2 right now, didn’t manage to get v3 working at first either. But now it seems to be working (v2) after I updated to latest theme version as well as latest WordPress version. However in the form settings I had to choose to not display captcha for the reCAPTCHA to be visible.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

You can try the beta version if you want to test the new spam protection. Let us know when you encounter another issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
