I can’t see the top toolbar or the CMS left side menu when I’m editing a page with Avia Layout Builder.
Just wondering if this is a problem anyone’s seen before and if there’s an obvious solution or course of action?
Many thanks in advance,
Dave
Hey davidjrfoster,
Try disabling all active plugins to see if the issue resolves. You also my want to check you user rights to see if its really admin.

Hi Jordan,
Thanks for the quick response.
Just disabled all plugins and checked that I’m logged in as an admin and the problem still persists.
Any other ideas?
Thanks,
Dave
Hi,
Check with your host to see the PHP version you’re currently running. Same with other topic.

Hello again Jordan,
Just done that – the version is 3.2.7.
Kind regards,
Dave
Hi Dave,
Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue?
Can you give us temporary admin access to your website in the private content box below, so that we can have a closer look?
Best regards,
Victoria
Hi Victoria,
I don’t see where to add an attachment but I have a screenshot ready if you can help with that.
I’ve included a temporary login link below.
Many thanks,
Dave

Hi Victoria,
Hmm…I’m not getting the dark areas basically – the sidebar menu on the left and the toolbar at the top.
But that’s encouraging as it suggests there’s some sort of problem on my machine or with my user settings. Any suggestions?
What are you using for the screenshot link by the way?
Kind regards,
Dave
Update:
I changed my admin user color scheme to something else and then back to the default and now all seems to be back to normal. The interface as well as the revisions feature. I’m not sure if the change I made did anything or that it merely coincided with you fixing something but anyway, all seems ok now.
Thanks for your assistance,
Dave
