    Hi,

    My Name is Jacob Kane-Conrad, I am President of the Purdue University Global Association for Computing Student Chapter. I have been encountering countless issues with trying to update our Enfold Theme on our WordPress website. A few years ago when 2 presidents before me bought the theme for our website they never logged in with their ThemeForest account and API Key. Is there a way that I am able to recover the username and API key without access to the account it was purchased through? We are using the Enfold Theme on our website

    I’m hoping you guys can help because we really like your theme and want to continue using it, without the key we won’t be able to use it any longer due to being a non-profit college student organization. Please let me know if there is anything that you might be able to do to help.

    Hey Jacob Conrad,
    Thanks for the link to your site, I see that you are using Enfold v3.1.5 which is very old, we are now at v4.5.7.
    Unfortunately, Theme Forest has changed the update method from an API to a Token system, so you will need to login to the Theme Forest account to download the latest version and update via ftp.
    Have you tried resetting the account password with the past user email address?
    We don’t have access to the Theme Forest account info.

    If this doesn’t help, I recommend purchasing a new license because you will also receive 6 months of support via our forum and we can assist you in updating your theme.
