Custom search widget on homepage

Hi there,

I have a site for a vacation rental agency. We use Lodgix for our property inventory and search. I’d like to have a homepage search bar for visitors to search for available rentals during a specific date/other criteria. Can someone help me figure out the best way to do this? I’ve tried to create a custom widget area, and add that within the template, but it comes out looking really funky. Ideally, I’d like it to look like one of these pages: https://southforkvacation.com/ and https://sccoastalvacations.com/
