    Dear Kriesi team,

by any reason, the image titel is not implemented to the code for all images on my website. I added the title in the backend in the media database for all images. Also when I choose the image via the page builder, the filelds for title und alt-text are filled. But when I hover the image in the frontend or check the source code, only the image in the colour section have a title. The logo and the image in the content area below don’t have a title. I definitely added it in the backend and of course safed the settings.

You can see it for example on the home page. I have aleady tried to enabled the minify plugin, but this does not solve the problem.
I found out in the meanwhile, that it only happens, when I choose the image in the full size. When I choose the medium size, the titel is shown.

What can I do to have the title for the other images in the frontend?

I added the URL and the admin login in the private area below.

Thanks in advance for your help.
    Best regards
    Michaela

    Hey Michaela,

Could you please attach some screenshots of the issue? Do you mean the browser functionality to show titles on hover over images? Which elements and on what pages do not have that?

The images that have some hover effect or some zoom effect are ruled by JavaScript and so the title on hover does not really work at the same time.

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

yes, I mean this browser functionality. Just have a look at the page “home” (see the link below)

The image “b2b-markenfuehrung_header.png” in the colour section has this functionality. Then there are two images below:
    Branding_Agentur_Teaser.png
    Agentur_Markenkommunikation.png

Both images are linked to subpages and have the effect that they become a bit bigger by hovering. To demonstrate what I mean, I now chose the medium size for “Branding_Agentur_Teaser.png”. Please just try and and you will see, that the left medium size shows the title in the same moment by hovering. The right, which has original size, doesn’t show it.

    Best regards
    Michaela

    Hi Michaela,

    Thank you for clarifying.

Can you disable caching and minification for now?

Credentials did not work for me. Could you please update the credentials?

    Best regards,
    Victoria

    Hi Victoria,

minify is disabled. I But unfortunately that is not the solution. I generated a new pasword. You find it below.

    Hi,
Sorry for the late reply, I have checked your site with Chrome, Firefox, & Edge, but I don’t see the image title on hover, but I do on the header image.
I see that you are using Enfold v4.5.5, please try updating the theme, you may need to update manually via ftp.
Please don’t try to overwrite the theme folder, as this will leave old files behind and cause errors. Please note that you should rename the “enfold” folder in /wp-content/themes/ to “enfold-old” via FTP, then upload the new “enfold” folder, once you see the new “enfold” is working you can delete the “enfold-old” folder.
Otherwise if it doesn’t work, rename the new enfold folder to “enfold-new” and rename the “enfold-old” back to “enfold” and let us know.

    Best regards,
    Mike
