Text box not formatting correctly

When I type and format within a text box, the formatting is not being displayed properly. I’ve tried using an html editor and using the html instead and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t In this case, it’s not working. Please see screenshot:

I notice that formatting looks right and once saved the formatting is lost. It doesn’t display on the live page. I check the code, I then replace the code with html and sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn’t. I’ve also tried deleting the text box and creating a new one and starting over. Still doesn’t work.
