    Hi,

    Each time I try updating wordPress the theme breaks. Meaning the backend won’t load and the frontend pages return “404: Page Not Found”. Can you please help?

    Hey DrKarenWolfe,

    Yes, you are still using Enfold 3.4.7 which is very old (latest version is 4.5.7) and not compatible with WP 5.2 (currently you are using 4.9.5).
    I would suggest updating the theme first before updating to the latest version of wordpress since some functions are already deprecated which breaks the theme.
    Also when updating the theme you’ll need to do the manual updating since envato changed their API system and changed it to using tokens.
    Make sure to do backup first before the update.
