Hello, I have one client where Enfold fails to update from 4.5.6 to 4.5.7 showing this error message: Beim Aktualisieren von Enfold ist ein Fehler aufgetreten: Aktualisierungs-Paket nicht verfügbar.
The token has the following permissions set:
– View and search Envato sites
– View your Envato Account username
– Download your purchased items
– List purchases you’ve made
– Verify purchases you’ve madeWe checked the token on 2019/05/20 11:35 and we were able to connect to Envato and could access the following information:
Your purchases
Your username: ••••••••••••
E-Mail could not be accessed (needed for your information only)
Following errors occured:email Errorcode 403 returned by Envato: Forbidden:
– code: not_authenticatedThe email error seems to be common as I get it in all my Enfold installations.
So how do I get the theme to autoupdate again?

There seems to be an issue with the auto updater so if it does not work. Please do update manually and the issue should be fixed after this update.

yep, I did this with the 4.5.5 to 4.5.6 update already and thought the next update should autoupdate again. We will see how it works with the next update.

Sorry for the problem. Did you check that you have given the correct permissions to your token? https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#toggle-id-5
If that doesn’t work then please post admin login details in private so that we can have a closer look.

Looks like you’ve managed to upgrade the theme to the latest version. The site now contains version 4.7.2, but you can still upgrade it to version 4.7.3. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

ähm, I am not sure if you followed that thread, but the theme still doesn’t autoupdate. I manually upgraded the theme since a long time.

Thanks for the update. I still see the 403 error coming from Envato, we’re not sure why that is happening unfortunately, but there must be some problem with the token you are using. Could you try to reach out directly to Envato support to get this solved maybe? They should be in a better position to help you out with this.

Yes that would be interesting, but this is not a general problem with the theme. As far as I know you are our only customer who has had this problem. That would mean that it’s likely a problem with your account and/or token, and we have no control over the systems which handles those parts. We are only a vendor on the Envato/Themeforest platform.

I would simply write that you are getting this error message:

– code: not_authenticatedAnd that you have followed our documentation: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/, but it’s still not working. You can also say that we haven’t had any other customers/users with this problem before you, so we don’t know how to help you out.

turns out my client has two envato accounts and used one to purchase the theme and the other account to generate the token 🙈
