    Hello, good day.

    How can I show the full content of the post when using the ALB in my blog page? I set in the theme options the blog page and in Settings -> Reading the post page. I know that when using ALB in the post it will not show the full content but how to do it? I’m using a child theme

    Hey pandaweb,

    Thanks for the link, though it seems to be showing the full content already. Did you manage to get it working? If not then please try to explain a bit further.

    Hi,

    The full content is showing because its using the Default Editor but when switched to ALB it will just show the excerpt and a “read more button”.

    Hi panda,

    Try to do the following:
    1. Go to Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays set Your latest posts
    2. Go to Enfold > Theme Options > And where do you want to display the Blog? set to your Blog page.
    3. Go to Enfold > Blog Layout > Blog Layout set to Use the advance layout editor to build your own blog layout (simply edit the page you have chosen in Enfold->Theme Options as a blog page)
    4. On your Blog page use Advanced Layout Builder, then on the Blog Posts element set Blog Content length to Full Content

    Hi Nikko,

    Still not working, what I mean is if you add a new post using the Advanced Layout Editor the full content of that post will not show in the blog archive it will just show an excerpt and a “read more” button. Please try in the post there is a post that is in draft that is using the Advanced Layout Editor just published and check the blog.

    We are trying to show the full content of a post in the blog archive using the Advanced Layout Editor when creating a post.

    Hi panda,

    We apologize for the delayed response and I see your point now.
    Unfortunately, Advanced Layout Builder works for the single page that you’re working and could not be fetched via blog posts and because of this limitation the excerpt is fetched instead.
    If you need to use elements for Advanced Layout Builder there’s a workaround using a magic wand tool that’s available in the standard editor.
