Hi!
I’m on a bit of a crusade here trying to get Enfold fixed up (masonry gallery, etc), so this is another post in that regard :D
When I add a logo to the header – I have to manually add empty pixels into the image file to the top and bottom so that the logo doesn’t touch the edges. Why can’t we choose the height ratio of the logo in the header settings? Say 20% empty space top and bottom, 60% logo height… or 20px space top and bottom, then fit the logo within remaining space.
This is annoying because I keep having to adjust the logo files, reuploading, etc, just to get the spacing right.Another problem is when I set the header to have the logo centered and the menu below it. The logo is floating at the very top of the browser window, then I get empty space and then the menu. Why isn’t there an option to center the logo height-wise in the header logo area? Once again, I’m forced to mess around with the actual file, adding unnecessary transparent pixels to the file, uploading, checking, adjusting…until I get it right… It would save a lot of time if there was a “center logo within the header” option, for example.
Is there any reason why such basic (in my opinion) logo options are missing? Is there any code I could use to quickly center the logo within the height of the header? Here’s an example of what the problem is: https://i.imgur.com/Fp80DCv.png
I apologize if I’m just dumb and the options exist, but for the life of me – I can’t find any… :/
Thanks!
May 17, 2019 at 11:07 am #1101724I’ll add another issue on top:
How do I move the social media icons out of the logo area and into the menu area? https://i.imgur.com/wBjzID1.png
It sort of works out fine if the logo is not escalated to the top (as seen here: https://i.imgur.com/iL1c1yK.png ), but for this design, which the client approved, I have to elevate the logo, which breaks everything…
On top of that – any way to control the size of those social media logos? They are tiny…Thanks!

VictoriaMay 21, 2019 at 10:14 am #1102777Hi!
Not much to share so far, really, as I’ve just made the header while doing other work, but I’ve put the link into the private info box.
At the moment I’ve got the header centered using empty pixels, but I would definitely like to know how to do it without having to fiddle with the logo images every time. :)May 25, 2019 at 5:25 am #1104133Hi,
Thank you for sharing the details.
To adjust the top and bottom spacing please check the below link
This should also work for the logo center and menu below.
Let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
