Good morning. I have created a series of articles that have a category and some sub-categories. I created an image that opens the macro category. I was hoping he would show me the list of subcategories, instead he presented me with a list of all the articles. What should I set to ensure that by selecting the macro category the sub-categories are displayed and not the items immediately? I hope I was clear. Thanks to all in advance

I’m not sure I understand your question or what you have done, could you post a link to where we can see the element in question please?
Best regards,
RikardMay 18, 2019 at 11:07 am #1102027Hello and thank you for your reply. I try to explain myself better. I would like if I click on a category I will see the list of sub-categories and not the complete list of products.
May 20, 2019 at 11:50 am #1102449Alternatively, is there a shortcode that allows me, by creating a special page, to have the sub-category grid if I select the category? I hope I was clear. Thank you all for your help.
May 21, 2019 at 7:42 am #1102711Hi minogig,
Unfortunately, it would require quite some time and customization of the theme to achieve this, so I am sorry to tell you that this is not covered by our support. However, if it’s really important for you to get this done, you can always hire a freelancer to do the job for you :)
Best regards,
VictoriaMay 21, 2019 at 10:06 am #1102771Maybe I can’t explain my problem and I’m just complicating it even more. The question that comes to mind is this: It is normal that if I create subcategories in the articles section, when I click on the category I will see the list of articles and not the subcategories first so as to then choose the article that I are you interested in the sub-category? I hope I was clearer
May 27, 2019 at 3:37 am #1104393Hi,
Thanks for the update.
Yes, that is normal. It is possible to manually adjust the archive or category template and display the sub categories instead of the articles, but that is something we can’t help you with. Please hire a freelance developer or contact our partner, Codeable.
