The list of categories at the top of the grid only shows some, and not all.
If I chose 10 categories to show, only 5 listing will show. When I click More, then some more will show. How can I get it to show the whole list, but only a limited number of items ( or Category’s)
Seems strange to show a partial list of all the category’s I select

Where can we see and reproduce the problem you are having?

It is the way the query works, it chooses the top 10 posts and then shows the categories they belong to, and when you click load more it loads the next batch and the all next 10 add to the first and contain all the categories now.

But my question was….
How can I get it to show the whole list, but only a limited number of items ( or Category’s)May 19, 2019 at 11:46 am #1102237Hi wealthyone,

VictoriaMay 19, 2019 at 12:22 pm #1102254Are you saying the Masonry element has noting to do with Enfold.? That it is all Woocommerce showing only a few categories???
If it is enfold.
Please tell me what code I can put in to show ALL categories and NOT just a few.
May 21, 2019 at 7:56 am #1102716Hi wealthyone,
NO, I meant maybe you want to look for the alternative solution if the option with Enfold is not working for you.

VictoriaMay 21, 2019 at 10:48 am #1102788Ok
Please pass this onto the Developers of Enfold..
If this is a enfold issue, then what I paid for is some support. Not to be told to go elsewhere and find an alternative theme that might work.
May 22, 2019 at 11:21 am #1103239Hi wealthyone,
This is the way masonry is built to work. If this component does not work for you, please try using another one.

VictoriaMay 22, 2019 at 11:44 am #1103245It was you that told me to try this after I did a LOT of work with coding etc on a similar layout.
I am sure there is a way to list all categories and when each is clicked it will show those only. Even tho I chose to only show 10 items at the beginning.
Please help with code or pass onto someone else that can answer my questions here without being told to try something different.
Do I have to email to the developers of Enfold outside of this forum???May 28, 2019 at 5:08 am #1104642Hi,
That is the default behavior of the category sort in the masonry element. A category will only display if an item that belongs to that particular category exists in the current page. We can use css to force the empty categories to display, but they won’t be able to dynamically fetch posts from another page, so they’re still useless. One workaround is to display all items in a single page and disable the pagination.
Unfortunately, we can’t help you extend the default functionality because it’s beyond the scope of support. You may need to hire a freelance developer or contact our partner, Codeable.

your other posting pointing me to the 6 or more coloums was exactly what I was looking for in the first place.
Unfortunately I was turned away from that and suggested I use the Masonry Element. So now I dont need this at all..
